EC3 AIUnderwriting Intelligence

Every submission read.Every risk rated.Every decision yours.

EC3 AI builds complete underwriting platforms for MGAs - from the broker's email to the bordereaux - so your book can grow without your back office growing with it.

In daily production at a property MGA since 1 September 2026

Underwriting capacity, multiplied.

The platform does the reading, rekeying, rating arithmetic and paperwork, and is built to scale with your team. The main limit left is underwriter approval time - and that is what it shrinks.

Up to
3x

the simple risks each underwriter can take to a bindable quote in a day - and 4-5x the complex ones.

Indicatively, a six-person team: 150-210 simple risks a day. Capacity grows with every underwriter you add, and every quote is still approved by a named underwriter.

Complex risksmulti-location, per underwriter, per day

Indicative capacity, based on time saved per task in live use. Manual figures are a seasoned CUO's own benchmarks. Actual results depend on the line of business, the risks and the team. Capacity, not volume.

Not another tool on top. The whole platform.

Many MGAs stitch together an intake tool, a workbench, a rating engine and a spreadsheet for bordereaux. EC3 AI gives each MGA one platform of its own.

One platform, one audit trail, your data - and a roadmap you set.

From broker email to bordereaux.

Eight steps, one system. Step five is the one we never automate.

  1. Submissions arrive

A dedicated mailbox for broker emails.

  2. AI reads

Email, proposal and schedule read; the risk extracted.

  3. Review

Every case in one Workflow inbox.

  4. Rating

    Per location, with referral rules.

  5. Approval

A named underwriter approves every quote.

  6. Documents

CCQ, schedule, quote letter, statement of fact, debit note.

  7. Bind

    Policy register, mid-term adjustments, bordereaux.

  8. Filed

    Correspondence kept against the risk.

Built for specialist MGA lines.

The platform is one engine; each line adds its own rating, wordings and appetite. Here is where it stands today.

One line first. Then scale.

We bring an MGA onto its own platform a line of business at a time, proving each on real risks before the next.

  1. Discovery and inputs

A rating authority named; appetite, rate tables, referral rules and your document pack gathered.

  2. Rating and documents

Your rating built and tested; documents set to your paper, carriers and brand.

  3. Intake tuned

The AI tuned to your brokers' real submission formats.

  4. Witnessed testing

Real submissions run end to end while your underwriters exercise the system.

  5. Go-live

Live traffic, close support and same-day fixes. Your underwriter signs off every stage.

The timeline is set together in discovery, once your inputs are known.

Questions MGAs ask us.

Does the AI make underwriting decisions?

No. The AI reads submissions, extracts the risk, applies your rating and drafts the documents. A named underwriter approves every quote before anything reaches a broker.

Is our data shared with anyone else?

No. Each MGA runs on its own platform, with its own database and documents. Hosting is in Europe: Amsterdam and Frankfurt.

Do we have to replace everything at once?

No. We start with one line of business, prove it on real risks, then add the next line, or the next brand, when you are ready.

How long does it take to go live?

We set the timeline together in discovery, once we have your rate tables, wordings and appetite. The first line takes longest; each line after it builds on what is already running.

How is it kept secure?

Two-factor sign-in, role-based access, a full audit trail of every change, over 5,500 automated checks before every update, and independent penetration testing.

Can we see it working?

Yes. We will walk you through a live MGA platform, end to end, on real cases.
